Born in Bucharest on 14 June 1993, George had a love of music from an early age. He played a toy piano all day long, annoying everyone around him. Then it was clear that it was time to learn to play a real piano.
George started studying music at the age of seven at the Bucharest School of Music and Arts no. 5. Playing the piano proved to be more challenging than he first thought. Czerny's gruelling etudes, Anna Magdalena Bach's sometimes identical minuets and long classical sonatas took the wind out of his sails. All he wanted was freedom of choice. Beethoven's Für Elise and Moonlight Sonata, Chopin's Preludes and Nocturnes, Satie's Gymnopedies and Gnossiennes were the pieces he wanted to learn and play with pleasure.
At the age of 10 George tried something new – to compose. And he did very well. He was praised by his colleagues, he was praised by his teachers. The support he received was a real boost for him.
His first works remained drafts. However, in the winter of 2011, he writes and releases his first EP called Snowflakes. In May 2012, he gives his first concert as a composer. Six years later, he began composing his first album, dedicated to the city of Saint Petersburg. This very first album was released in 2020 and there will be many more to come.
Our daily lives are full of routine, exhausting work and worries. Sometimes we completely forget what's going on inside us and how we feel. We lose our inner balance.
My mission is to compose music that has a calming effect on the mind and soul – the kind of music you can listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, full of energy, when you just want to relax and unwind, or even when you need to gain strength.
My music is meant to evoke and release sincere feelings.
